2016 is considered by many knowledgable individuals as an absolutely critical year, as the United States will hold a national election to select its next leader, and because it promises to reveal yet more record-setting high temperatures around the world as global warming continues to progress. Middleway Akashi also recognizes this, which has led to three goals for 2016: (1) stop global warming with a Carbon Pollution Tax; (2) wake humans to what it means to be human; and (3) save Mother Earth from devastation. 2016 is too critically important a year to let slip away. No stone should be left unturned while searching for the answer. Middleway is so committed to this goal that he will stop eating in 2017, if a Carbon Pollution Tax isn’t passed in 2016. This won’t be act of desperation but an act of logical reasoning. Middleway is willing to be the canary in the coal mine… one life in order to save billions of lives.
