Humans Are Blind and God

This talk is like a flashlight that shines a light on you and your relationship with what many consider truth/reality...God/religion.

Imagine you are blind. If it helps, you can close your eyes.

Imagine being blind and having to go across a tree filled hillside.

What would you do? How would you go across a hillside filled with trees?

Please raise you hand, or respond in some way… IF YOU WOULD LIKE:

Someone with you? (if you were blind, would you like company?)

Someone who could see?  (if you were blind, would you like a companion that could see?)

Someone who could watch over you?  (if you are blind, would you like a mother or father?)

How many would like a map that you could use? (a guide book?)

How many responded affirmatively 4 times? Congratulations, you can see that you are blind… and you took a short glimpse of reality... that God is something a blind person wants.

How many 3 times? Congratulations, you can know that you are blind… and you almost opened your eyes.

2 times… Congratulation for taking 2 steps.

1 time… Congratulations for taking a step.

Zero times… Congratulations for taking zero steps.

This is evidence that humans ARE blind. Humans can see a little. Humans are able to live their lives, even with their severe degree of blindness. Humans believe that other animals see much less than them, yet even with that severe degree of blindness, animals live their lives. This is how humans also live.
